| In recognition of the best energy related projects implemented and to encourage and promote the energy efficiency in corporate sector and among energy practitioners , SLEMA organizes competitions annually and offer following awards: |

Prof. Mohan Munasinghe Award:
Awarded to an individual or a group of persons for the best Energy Conservation Project completed within the past two years. |

|
|
Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Award:
Awarded to an Organisation (industry, hotel, commercial establishment, etc.) for the best Energy Conservation Project completed within the past two years. |
| |
|
|
Award for the Best Energy Related Study:
Awarded to an individual or a group of individuals or an Institution for the best Energy-related study completed within the past two years. The study should contribute to the improvement of knowledge on Energy Supply, Utilization and Management in Sri Lanka.
