Our objectives :
  • To serve as a forum for information exchange on Energy Management practices.
  • To encourage and promote Energy Management practices in Sri Lanka.
  • To provide adequate and up-to-date information on effective Energy Management techniques.
  • To encourage consultancy services on Energy Management.
 
Membership Services :
  • Offer facilities to obtain updated information on energy efficiency.
  • Provide opportunities for participating in local and foreign training programs.
  • Opportunity to participate in projects, consultancy assignments handled by SLEMA.
  • Offer facility to hire measuring instruments required for energy related studies/auditing at a reasonable fee

Annual Awards :
   
In recognition of the best energy related projects implemented and to encourage and promote the energy efficiency in corporate sector and among energy practitioners , SLEMA organizes competitions annually and offer following awards:
   
Prof. Mohan Munasinghe Award:
Awarded to an individual or a group of persons for the best Energy Conservation Project completed within the past two years.
   
Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Award:
Awarded to an Organisation (industry, hotel, commercial establishment, etc.) for the best Energy Conservation Project completed within the past two years.
   
Award for the Best Energy Related Study:
Awarded to an individual or a group of individuals or an Institution for the best Energy-related study completed within the past two years. The study should contribute to the improvement of knowledge on Energy Supply, Utilization and Management in Sri Lanka.
